Myrtle Y. Prince

Graveside services for Mrs. Myrtle Y. Prince, age 81, were held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 1992 in Forest Park on St. Vincent Ave. under the direction of Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating was Rev. Phil Smith, pastor of Morningside Baptist Church.

Mrs. Prince died Tuesday, December 1, 1992 in the Glen Retirement Village after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Jena, La. and a resident of Shreveport, La. Mrs. Prince was an admitting Clerk at Confederate Memorial Hospital, a member of Morningside Baptist Church, a member of Sunset Star Chapter of the O.E.S. and the Bethel White Shrine.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Robert Clinton Prince; two sisters, Eloise Young and Ruth Harris; one brother, Glynn Young; and one granddaughter, Deborah Burroughs.

Mrs. Prince is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Frances Burroughs and husband, Joe of Shreveport, La.; one sister, Rubye Lewis of Shreveport, La.; two grandsons, Joey Burroughs and wife Denise, and Bobby Burroughs and wife Suzy; two great-grandchildren Tonya and Josh Burroughs; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Bernon Aaron, Glassell Davidson, DP Morris, Norman Lewis, Jerry Jones and Ray Harris.
