MRS. MYRTLE GRACE WALLEY

Mrs. Myrtle Grace Walley, 84, died on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at River Oaks Hospital. Graveside Funeral Services will be today at 3 p.m. at Richland City Cemetery.

Mrs. Walley, a native of Jasper County lived in Richland for 50 years before moving to Florence to live with her granddaughter. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Richland. She was a member of the Plainview-Florence OES, Chapter 236. She was a seamstress for Sears for many years prior to her becoming self-employed making draperies. Beyond her business of sewing, she loved quilting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Walley; daughters: Ernestine Rayner and Bonnie Stewart and grandson, Clinton Leo Smith.

She is survived by three granddaughters: Alicia Perry of Florence, Teresa Richardson of Brandon, and Allison Carmichael of Magee; and five great-grandchildren.
