Myrtle Pinkston

STAMPS, AR - Myrtle Pinkston, age 93, of Stamps, Arkansas died Wednesday, January 19, 2005 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. She was born December 19, 1911 in Camden, AR.

Mrs. Pinkston was a Homemaker and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Stamps for over fifty years and would boast that she was the oldest member of the church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Claude Pinkston; two grandsons: Jay Sutton and Billy Sutton; one great-grandchild: Christopher J. Sutton.

She is survived by one son: Charles (Buddy) Pinkston of Port Allen, LA; two daughters: Barbara Minter of Nash, TX; Edith McMaster of Arkadelphia, AR; one brother: J.B. Romack of Bossier City, LA, nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 A.M. Saturday, January 22, 2005 at The Smith Funeral Home in Stamps with Bro. Wayne Johnston and Bro. John Force officiating with burial in Lakeside Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home-Stamps, AR.

Visitation will be from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home in Stamps.
