Rites Tomorrow For Mrs. Crain

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow for Mrs. Myrtle E. Crain, 46, 700 W. 70th St., who died at 5 p.m. yesterday at a local hospital after a long illness.

Services for Mrs. Crain, a receptionist for the Texas Eastern Gas Transmission Corp., will be held at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Floyd Harris, pastor of the Southside Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Crain was a native of Utica, Miss. and had resided in Shreveport for the past 19 years.

Pallbearers in the services tomorrow will be nephews of Mrs. Crain.

Honorary pallbearers will be nurses of the first floor of the Physicians and Surgeons Hospital, employees of Texas Gas Transmission, and Dr. W. M. Allum.

Survivors in addition to her husband include a brother, M. H. Thornton of Shreveport and two sisters, Mrs. Josie Gilbert of Shreveport and Mrs. Willie Wren of Longview, Tex.
