N. L. FORD

MANY -- Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday for N. L. Ford, 74, of Hornbeck, who died in Shreveport Wednesday after a long illness.

The services were held in the Toro Baptist Church with the Rev. A. E. Moss and the Rev. Steve Stoneking officiating. Burial was in the Toro Cemetery under the direction of Warren Funeral Home of Many.

Survivors include his widow; five sons, Duffy Ford of Florien, Oscar Ford of Gandy, Herman, Berman and Thurman Ford, all of Hornbeck; three daughters, Daisie Bell Williams and Mrs. Edna Seamon of Hornbeck and Mrs. Glynn Gibson of Weeks, Calif.; one brother, Casey Ford of Beaumont, Tex.; 26 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
