Nadine Stapleton Parker, 54, of Jena, died Tuesday, November 20, 2007 in the Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria.
She was a pharmacy tech at Jena Pharmacy and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Services will be held on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home, Jena, with the Rev. Johnnie Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Hawthorne Cemetery of Little Creek.
Visitation will be at Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home, Jena today from 8 a.m. until service time.
Survivors include her husband, S.M. “Max” Parker of Jena; one daughter, Rita Delanie Parker, Jena; one son, Jamie and wife, Jenny of Jena; one step-daughter, Lisa and husband, Bill Powell of Jacksonville, Florida; two step-sons, Michael and wife, Cindy Parker of Natchitoches and Corky and wife, Jennifer of West Monroe; three sisters, Gladys Elliott of Jonesville, Nina Terral of Gautier, Mississippi and Sue Purvis of Jonesville; three brothers, Gary Stapleton, Mac Stapleton and Dub Stapleton all of Trout; one granddaughter, Cydney Kate Parker; seven step-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents C.C. and Elaine Bignar Stapleton.
Pallbearers will be Chad Stapleton, Burt Stephens, Will Stapleton, Jack Stapleton, Curt Stapleton, and Bo Bigner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robbie McMillin, Zac Stapleton, Wayne Elliott, and Blake Crooks.
