MRS. NANCY ALLEN BEAVERS

JENA (Special) -- Mrs. Nancy Allen Beavers, a resident of Trout, died at her residence early today. She was 83.

A native of Winn Parish, Mrs. Beavers has resided near Trout for a number of years.

Funeral services will be held at the Beulah [sic Belah] Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Garland Pritchard officiating. Interment, under the direction of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home of Jena, will be in the Beulah [sic Belah] cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the family residence until time for the funeral services.

Mrs. Beavers is survived by four sons, Ira Beavers of Pollock, Howard of Baton Rouge, and Ivy and Arley of Trout; four daughters, Mrs. Viola Peavy, Mrs. Myra Lofton, Mrs. Vera Thornton, and Mrs. Armer Corley, all of Trout; 27 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
