BEAVER -- At the family residence, Cheneyville, La., Thursday, July 11, 1940, at 1:45 a.m., Mrs. Nancy Corley Beaver, 66. The deceased is survived by her husband, J. W. Beaver of Cheneyville; five sons, Edward, Edgar and Ray Beaver of Cheneyville, Floyd Beaver of Plaquemine, and Loyd Beaver of Lecompte; four daughters, Mrs. Lucille Durant of Cheneyville, Mrs. Sudie Liguri of New York, Mrs. Ollie Van Gossen of Bayou Rapides, and Mrs Ida Webb of Bunkie, Route 3.

The funeral procession left the family residence at 2 p.m., Thursday. Services were held at the Cheneyville Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. H. H. O'Bier, pastor, officiating. Rev. L. P. Jones, assisted. Interment was made in the Old Christian cemetery, under the direction of Morgan Brothers.
