Mrs. Finley Dies; Services Monday

Mrs. Callie Puckett Finley, 78, Terry Road, died in a local hospital at 2:15 p.m. after an extended illness.

She was the widow of the late J. A. Finley, who died in 1938. She has been a resident of Jackson for the past 58 years.

Mrs. Finley was born and reared in Rankin county. She is survived by two sons, J. W. and Roy, both of Jackson; one daughter, Mrs. M. R. Luster, Jackson; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday at Baldwin Chapel, with Rev. T. R. Holt, pastor of the Byram Methodist church, officiating. Rev. T. A. Carruth will assist.

Interment will be in Cedarlawn cemetery.

Pallbearers will be William E. Dent, Charles Tucker, Joe Griffin, Oliver Gary, Ben Milligna, Roy Tyler, L. E. Hill and Will Albert Gary. NH
