Miss Pepper, 83, Dies; Rites At Hebron Church
Funeral services for Miss Nancy Pepper, 83, of Grayson, who died Tuesday
night, May 30, 1972, at Caldwell Parish Hospital after a long illness, were
held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hebron Baptist Church.
Miss Pepper was a lifelong resident of the Hebron Community until a few years
ago when she moved to Grayson to make her home with her sister, Mrs. Martha
Mayes.
The Revs. Louis Holt and Oscar Bradford officiated.
Burial was in the Hebron Cemetery.
Survivors include one brother, Kindred Pepper, three sisters, Mrs. Florence
Bennett of Willits, Calif., Mrs. Martha Mayes of Grayson, and Mrs. Carrie
Crain of Clarks; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Cecil Peppers, James Peppers, Luther Peppers, Charles Cod,
Overton Deville, and Quincy Stearns.
