RITES TODAY AT HOME FOR NANCY A. WEST

Thomas E. Doty, Her Son, Was Killed in France on Armistice Day

Last rites for Mrs. Nancy A. West, 71, gold star mother whose son, Thomas E. Doty was killed on Armistice Day in France, will be held at her home, 304 Homer street, at 10 a.m. today.

She died at her home Tuesday night. Interment will be in the Greenwood cemetery, the Rev. J. N. Hixon of the Ardis Memorial Baptist church officiating. Services will be under the direction of Roseneath funeral home.

She is survived by two sons, James M. West, Bossier, and Floyd Doty, Plain Dealing; three daughters, Mrs. Anna Wallace, Plain Dealing; Mrs. Cliff Bowen, Mansfield, and Mrs. Mattie Atkins, Bossier; two brothers, Abner Strange, Rocky Mount, and Will Strange, Tyler, Texas.

The pallbearers will be: George Huckaby, Abe Martin, Albert Teague, Urman Adair, K. L. Smith, Bob Roberts, J. C. Boles and James Freeman.
