MOTHER M'COMB RESIDENT DIES
Mrs. Waller, 87, Buried In Amite County Tuesday
Last rites were held for Mrs. N. J. Waller, 87-yeal-old lifelong resident of Amite county near Liberty, at the Mt. Pleasant church in Amite county at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
The Rev. Jones, pastor of the Mary Springs Church of God, in Amite county, officiated. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery, under the direction of the Hartman funeral home of McComb.
Mrs. Waller died at the home of her oldest son, T. G. Waller, near Hazlehurst, about 1 p.m. Monday. Her death followed a prolonged illness that kept Mrs. Waller in bed for the last two years.
She was born April 4, 1853, in Amite county, near Liberty. Dec. 12, 1876, she was married to E. O. Waller.
Mrs. Waller was a member of the Trinity Baptist church, near the place of her home in Amite county.
Her husband, four sons and two daughters preceded her in death.
Surviving are three sons, T. G. Waller, of Hazlehurst; H. W. Waller, of Liberty, and Emmet Waller, of Baton Rouge, La.; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Mullins, of McComb, and Mrs. J. A. Crum, of Baton Rouge.
Also, 59 grandchildren, 70 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren survive.
