Nannie Emmerson Welch

Funeral services for Nannie Emmerson Welch, 69, of Winnsboro, were held in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home at 10 a.m. January 1st with Rev. George Ferrington and Rev. James Thornhill officiating. Burial was in Providence Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Welch died December 30th at Franklin Parish Hospital. She was a member of Bayou Macon Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Brownie Welch, Winnsboro; five sons, O.J. Sikes of Winnsboro; Noah Welch, Milan, N.M., Dennis Ray Welch, Winnsboro, Billy Welch, Winnsboro, Turner Welch, Winnsboro; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Morrison, Monroe, Mrs. Alice Temple, Winnsboro; three brothers, Taft Emmerson, Winnsboro, John Emmerson, Monroe and Doc Emmerson of Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Vick Sullivan, Winnsboro and Mrs. Lena Thornhill of Monroe.
