Nannie Emmons Inman

Services for Nannie Emmons Inman of Brookhaven were 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Pearl Valley Baptist Church in Wesson with burial in Providence Methodist Church Cemetery in Copiah County. Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Miss Inman, 88, died Oct. 20, 2003, at King's Daughters Medical Center. She was born in Lawrence County on May 5, 1915, to William Roland Emmons and Hestela Elizabeth Emmons.

She was a former postmaster in Oma. She also worked as a nurse at Whitfield Hospital and as an electric welder with Bob Ingil's Shipyard.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her daughter.

Survivors are her four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
