Mrs. Eloise Boyd Strange

PLAIN DEALING, LA - Services for Eloise Boyd Strange, 71, were held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 15, 1994 at the Plain Dealing Church of Christ where she was a member with Mr. Charles Pierce officiating, assisted by Mr. Cecil Hartsell. Burial was in the Plain Dealing Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Mortuary, Plain Dealing.

Mrs. Strange, a native and lifelong resident of this area, passed away suddenly Wednesday, April 13 in Bossier City. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband with whom she had celebrated their 48th Wedding Anniversary on July 27, 1993, Daniel M. Strange; a daughter, Carole Moreland and her husband, Terry, of Carthage, TX; a granddaughter, Jan Matlock, of Plain Dealing; a brother, Willie B. Boyd, Sr. of Plain Dealing; four nieces, two nephews; five great-nieces and two great-nephews.

Pallbearers were Billy Boyd, Larry Miller, Jerry Boyd, Dewayne Barnett, James Lyles and Mark Lyles.

Honorary pallbearers were Curtis Gleason and Lloyd Gleason.
