Mrs. Biggs, 52, Of Kelly Expires

KELLY -- Mrs. Naomi McKeithen Biggs, 52, of Kelly died at 5:30 a.m. Saturday at a Columbia hospital after a brief illness.

She was a member of the Kelly Methodist church and the Order of the Eastern Star, Columbia Chapter No. 147. Mrs. Biggs was a practical nurse and past president of the La. Practical Nurses Assn.

Survivors are her husband, Clyde Biggs of Kelly; a daughter, Mrs. Joan Biggs Sykes of Tioga; a son, James R. Biggs of Kelly; a brother, O. A. McKeithen of St. Francisville; five sisters, Mrs. Moice Saucier of Shreveport, Mrs. Lloyd L. Walters of Monroe, Mrs. Clyde Head of Kiln, Miss., Mrs. Florence Bates of Boyce, and Mrs. Joyce Carr of Port La Vaca, Tex., and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Kelly Methodist church with Revs. Wesley Putnam and Richard Hoffpauer officiating. Burial will be at Welcome Home cemetery near Grayson, under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home, Columbia.

The body will be at the funeral home until 1 p.m. today, when the remains will be taken to the church.
