Services for Nathan C. Powers, 61, of Tomball are set for 1 p.m. Thursday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.
The Rev. Lawrence Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Steep Hollow Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to the time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Powers died Sunday in Hermann Memorial Hospital in Houston.
He was born in Bryan and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was retired as an ultrasonic inspector for Wyman-Gordon Forging. He was a member of the International Association for Machinist and Aerospace Workers. Mr. Powers was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lee Powers of Harlingen; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Nathan W. and Diana Powers of Tomball and Jonathan A. Powers of Harlingen; a daughter, Melanie Powers-Goldberg of Tomball; two brothers, Elton Powers and Donald Powers, both of Bryan; and four grandchildren.
