N. P. Johnson Buried Sat. In Old Center
Funeral services were held for Nathe Johnson of Baytown at Old Center Church Saturday at two o'clock. He died suddenly Thursday night about ten o'clock.
Mr. Johnson was born in Panola County in 1899. He was a member of Woods Baptist Church, and had lived all his life in the county until about eight years ago when he moved to Baytown.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Johnson; one daughter, Helen Ruth of Baytown; two sons, Jimmie of E. T. D. C., Marshall, and Joe of Baytown; his mother, Mrs. Nora Johnson of Tenaha; three brothers, Carol of Arkansas, Ray of Baytown and S. P. of Brady; seven sisters, Stella of Woods; Ola, Cora, and Jennie Lou, all of Livingston, Enie of Center, Grace of Baytown and Mrs. Clara Bunyard who teaches school in Korea.
