BAY SPRINGS -- Services for Nell Prescott McCarty will be held today at 11 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Carey Bass officiating. Burial will be in Zion Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. McCarty, 84, of Meridian, died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at Beverly Living Center in Meridian.
Survivors include her children, Van K. “Van Mac” McCarty of Meridian, Kenneth L. McCarty of Prosperity, S.C. and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, F.R. “Sank” McCarty; her parents and five brothers and three sisters.
