EMMONS. -- At her home near Loyd, La. on Dec. 27th, after an illness of two weeks, Mrs. Nellie Emmons, aged 29 years. She leaves a husband, five children, a mother, two brothers and two sisters, to mourn her early death. Mrs. Emmons was a member of the Baptist church and we trust she has entered that rest that remaineth for the children of God.

Sleep on Nellie in that eternal rest,
We loved you but we know God loved you best.
