THOMAS

Mrs. Nellie Faye Thomas, age 51, of Tucker, passed away Monday, September 2.

She is survived by her husband, Mr. Jim Thomas, Tucker; one son, Stan Thomas, Lilburn; one daughter, Miss Kay Thomas, Tucker; two brothers, A.L. Sikes, Jr., Baton Rogue [sic Rouge], La.; James E. Sikes, Winnfield, La.; one sister, Mrs. Chloe Mae Atkins, Edna, Texas.

Mrs. Thomas was a member of the Tucker First Baptist Church, Sweetwater Chapter Order of The Eastern Star No. 298. She had been a School Teacher for 25 years and had taught in the DeKalb County School System for the past 17 years.

Funeral services 3:30 p.m. Wednesday from the R.T. Patterson Lilburn Chapel, with the Rev. Paul S. Moody officiating. Interment, Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Tuesday 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the R.T. Patterson Lilburn Chapel.
