DEAN

NELLIE GLADIS DEAN , 89, passed away Aug. 4, 2002 in Houston, TX. Mrs. Dean was born Dec. 5, 1912 in Geydon, Louisiana. She graduated from Galena Park High School 1931. She began her working career in telecommunications and ended her 3rd retirement at the age of 85.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Gladys Price and her brother, William Davis. She is survived by her children, Robert ``Bob'' Dean , Marjorie Wooster, & Jeff Kenneth Dean ; grandchildren, Courtney Dean , Kyle Dean , Bobby Dean , Pat Darnell Jr. & Johnna, Gene Darnell & Carla, Tracie Resendez & Daniel; great grandchildren, Brandon Darnell, Abbey Darnell, Cooper Darnell, Robbie Darnell, Carlie Darnell, Cadie Darnell, Madeleine Darnell-Resendez.

The family will receive friends Wed., Aug. 7, 2002 from 4-9 pm at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 I-45 S., Conroe, TX 77384. A graveside service will be held Fri., Aug. 9, 2002 at 1:00 pm at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Pollock, LA.
