Nellie Taunton

BUTLER -- Services for Nellie Hankinson Taunton will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Taunton, 80, died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2000. A native of Taylor County, she lived in Miami, Fla., for 32 years before moving back to Taylor County in 1981. She was a retired baker for the school cafeteria in Miami.

Survivors include her children Barbara E. Taunton, Robert A. ``Bobby'' Taunton Jr. and Stephen A. Taunton, all of Butler; sister, Hazel Hankinson of Butler; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 tonight at Edwards Funeral Home in Butler.
