NELLIE McCARTY
Nellie D. McCarty, 1008 12th Ave., died Wednesday, March 7, 1990, at the Jones County Rest Home in Ellisville.
The funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Memory Chapel, with burial in Hickory Grove Cemetery. The Revs. Charles Mayo, Paul Wetzel and Gary Rayborn will officiate.
She was a homemaker and a member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God.
She is survived by her husband, Dewey C. McCarty of Laurel; a son, Joe L. McCarty Sr. of Ellisville; a daughter, Hazel R. Mayo of Pascagoula; a sister, Ruby Cagle of Laurel; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Steve Mayo, Lee McCarty, Brian McCarty, Don Asbell, David Burnham and John Cagle.
Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m. today at Memory Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.
