BARNES, NETTIE FAY

Died 1:16 a.m. Friday, March 15, 1991, at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was 68, a native of McComb, Miss., and resident of Greenwell Springs-Baton Rouge area. Visiting a Charlet Funeral Home, Zachary, from 1 to religious services at 2 p.m. Sunday, conducted by Dr. D. P. Worsham. Burial in the Greenwood Plantation Cemetery, north of St. Francisville.

Survived by husband, Walton J. Barnes, Greenwell Springs; two sons, Walton J. Barnes II, Zachary, and Richard N. Barnes, St. Francisville; a sister, Dorothy B. Blackstone, Chalmette; six grandchildren, Walton J. Barnes III, Hammond, Regina Katherine Barnes and Meghan Marie Barnes, both of Baton Rouge, Emma Claire Barnes, Zachary, Richard N. Barnes II and Victoria Elizabeth Barnes, both of St. Francisville; and a great-granddaughter, Mariella Katherine Bettz, Baton Rouge.

Preceded in death by parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Barlow.

Pallbearers will be Jack Brooks, Bernard Blackstone, Frank Parker, Kenneth Barnes, Greg McElroy, and Mark Blackstone.

Honorary pallbearers are Carter McMorris, Mark Everritt, Earl Authurs, Kline Courtney, Charlie Thompson, Cecil G. Taylor, and Trey Barnes.
