Nettie Jewel Fountain

Nettie Jewel Fountain, 90, of Monticello died Sunday.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church in Monticello, with burial at Roseland Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Beggs Funeral Home Monticello Chapel.

A native of Ellaville, Ga., she had lived in Monticello since 1934. She was a homemaker and the owner of Fountain's Cafe until her retirement. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by a son, James T. Fountain of Monticello; two daughters, Mary Virginia Goodman of Tallahassee and Jacqueline F. Dykes of Panama City; two brothers, Lewis Moulton of Butler, Ga., and Charles Moulton of Atlanta; three sisters, Naomi Fitzgerald and Sara Holton, both of Warner Robbins, Ga., and Marie Brown of Howard, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
