Nettie Lorine Wooley
Nettie Lorine Wooley, 92, of Clarksdale, died May 26, 2006, at Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.
Services are 3 p.m. today at National Funeral Home in Clarksdale with the Rev. David Newton officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Clarksdale.
Mrs. Wooley was born Nov. 24, 1913, in Gloster, to Calvin and Mary Whitehead Whittington.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in and was a graduate of Sunflower High School in Sunflower. She was a retired seamstress for several Clarksdale area businesses.
Mrs. Wooley was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jewell Wooley.
Survivors include a daughter, Ramona Rippee of Oakland; four sons, Jerry Wooley of Cleveland, Tenn., Ronnie Wooley of Liberty, Jim Wooley of Canyon Lake, Texas, and Bob Wooley of Clarksdale; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
