SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. NEVA ROLLINS WHITTINGTON
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Neva Rollins Whittington on Saturday, December 8, 1979 at 11:00 a.m. from Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Gloster. Rev. Marzette Temple officiated.
Mrs. Whittington died Thursday, December 6, 1979 at Villa Feliciana Hospital. She was 72 years old, a native of Gloster and a housewife. She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Sam Whittington.
Survivors include tow daughters: Mrs. Dora Dawson, Baker, La.; Miss Retha Whittington, Gloster, Ms., three sons: Curtis Whittington, Baker, La.; Harry Whittington, Walker, La.; Sammie Whittington, Gloster, five sisters: Mrs. Nina Jackson, Natchez; Mrs. Pauline Reeves, Gloster; Mrs. Audie Guice, Zachary; Mrs. Chine Whittington, Baton Rouge, La. and Mrs. Mary Lula Whittington, Baton Rouge, La., three brothers: Carl Rollins, Judson Rollins and Mann Rollins, all of Gloster; 11 Grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Burial was in New Hope Cemetery, Gloster, with Brown Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
