NEWELL ELTON SAVELL
May 24, 1931 - May 8, 2011

Mr. Newell Elton Savell, 79, has gone home to be with the Lord and his beloved wife Doris and loving daughter Gloria, on May 8, 2011, in LaGrange, GA.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 – 8:00pm at Natchez Trace Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 2:00 pm with interment immediately following at Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery. Natchez Trace Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Savell was a native of Raleigh, MS. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War.

Mr. Savell was preceded in death by wife Doris Savell, his daughter Gloria Ann Knoch and his parents Ashley Jackson & Violia Mae Savell.

He is survived by his daughters Shirley Beidleman (Dave) of AZ, Susan Hazzleringg of LaGrange, GA, Sandra Savell Guin (Roy) of LaGrange, GA and Debbie Mize (Eddie) of Tallulah, LA. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
