Wreck Fatal To Man, 73, In Bienville
FRIENDSHIP, Nov. 11 (Special). A 73-year-old Friendship man died today of head injuries suffered Monday when his auto smashed into a truck at a street intersection at Lucky.
State police identified the man as Newtie C. Hall.
Jess Hall, a cousin of the deceased and a passenger in the car, was injured in the accident. Attendants at a Jonesboro hospital said his condition is satisfactory.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. J. W. Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Friendship cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
He is survived by his widow; four sons, Audrey [sic Aubrey] Hall of Saline; M. B. and Harold Hall of Friendship, and Ray Hall of Minden; three brothers, W. H., W. W., and D. E. Hall, all of Friendship.
