NEWTON P. COTTON
Newton P. Cotton, 40, resident of Pioneer, died at a local sanitarium yesterday morning after an extended illness. Funeral services were held at the Forest, La., cemetery this afternoon at 3 o'clock.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Willie Cotton; three sisters, Mrs. Stella Mae Ramsey of Mt. Ida, Ark., Mrs. Mattie Sant of Welch, and Mrs. Cornelia Prather of Jennings; and two brothers, Jesse Cotton [sic Jessie Cotten] of Swartz, and Cloyd Cotton [sic Claude Cotten] of Harrisonburg.
