Nina Jones Stewart, 92

Funeral services for Nina Jones Stewart, 92, of Dodson were held March 4 at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Billy Smithart and Ronnie Taylor officiating. Burial followed in the Cypress Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Stewart passed away March 2 at Jackson Manor after a brief illness.

She is survived by her son, Charles Jones and Patsy of Dodson; daughter, Gloria Browning and husband Paul of Dodson; seven grandchildren, Delward Jones of Alexandria, Denise Schexnayder of St. Martinville, Darron Jones of Buford, Ga., Kevin Browning of Dodson, Renea Saunders of Monroe, Stacey Pardue of Ruston, and Kim Stewart of Sikes; 13 great grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Honorary pallbearers were H.L. Caskey, Jr. and Huey D. Caskey. Pallbearers were Harrell Bond, Jr., Bobby Joe Folks, Wannie Caskey, William Mathews, Larry Pardue, Jr., and Ted Schexnayder.

Services were under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.
