Noble Wilburn McCarty

Funeral services for Noble Wilburn McCarty, 24, of West Monroe who was killed instantly in an automobile accident Thursday near Bastrop, were held Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the Fort Necessity Baptist church. The Rev. M. J. Martin officiated.

Interment was in White Swan Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Idelle McCarty of West Monroe; a daughter, Patricia Ann McCarty; a son, Willie Warren McCarty; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. M. McCarty of Winnsboro; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Grace Shoemaker of Dallas, Tex., Mrs. Henriette Johnson of Monroe and Miss Janice Lynn McCarty of Winnsboro; three brothers. G. M. McCarty, Jr., Gene McCarty, both of West Monroe, and Nathan McCarty of Dallas, Tex.

Serving as pallbearers were T. M. Burlew, S. D. Bankson , John Bonner, Charlie Winters, Frank Barfield and Junior Ervin.
