NOLA GWENDOLA MECHAM
Funeral services were held for Nola Gwendola Mecham, 69, of DeBeque, CO., January 13, 2003, at 10 a.m. from Northside Baptist Church. A native of Lucedale and a member of the Baptist faith, she died January 7 at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, CO.
She is survived by her husband, J. Curtis Mecham of DeBeque, CO.; a son, James (Susan) Amodeo, Jr. of Owensboro, KY; a daughter, Teresa (Charlie) Goff of Lucedale; two step-sons, Joseph D. Mecham of DeBeque, CO., and Russell Mecham of Washington, CO.; two step-daughters, Terri Gray and Tonya Mecham, both of Vernal, Utah, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 12 step grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, Joe McDaniel and J. W. McDaniel, both of Lucedale.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Amodeo, Sr., two sons, Robert Eugene Amodeo and Gale Patrick Amodeo.
Interment was held at Northside Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. John Kuck officiating the services. Sigler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
