Mr. Nolan “Pete” Crum
Services for Mr. Nolan “Pete” Crum, age 84 of Fort Necessity, LA will be at 10:00 A.M. Sunday, June 21, 2009 at Fort Necessity Baptist Church with Reverend Don Blackmon and Reverend Benton Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mr. Crum was born on February 14, 1925 and passed from this life on June 19, 2009. He was a member of Fort Necessity Baptist Church, Favorite Uncles Club, a veteran of World War II, Battle of the Bulge Tank Division.
He was preceded in death by his parents; William Dalton Crum and Ida Belle (Bass) Crum and brothers; Edgar Crum, J. C. “Buster” Crum, Ray Crum, Sula Crum, Tommy Crum, Lonnie “Smokey” Crum, Earl Crum, Odell “Irishman” Crum and sister; Rhonda Zeigler.
Survivors include:
Wife: Barbara Crum of Fort Necessity, LA.
Brother: Huey Crum of Fort Necessity, LA.
A Host of Nieces and Nephews.
Pallbearers will be: David Carroll, Dallas “Frog” Crain, Joe Foy, Cody Gallagher, Chuck Smith, Patrick Gallagher, and Joe Tarver.
The family would like to thank Dr. Greg Sampognaro for his care.
Visitation is at Fort Necessity Baptist Church on Saturday, June 20th, from 5:00 till 9:00 p.m.
