NORMA HOLLAND

Funeral services were held Friday, February 17, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Liberty for Norma Whittington Holland, 72, of Liberty. Rev. Burnett Carraway officiated. Burial was in Whittington-Brumfield Cemetery near Liberty.

Ms Holland passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at Liberty Community Living Center.

Born February 1, 1940, in New Orleans, Ms Holland was the daughter of Lee and Freddie Mae Barron Bordelon, both deceased.

Ms Holland was a homemaker and loved cooking and tending to flowers.

In addition to her parents, Ms Holland was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Whittington; her second husband, Kenneth Holland; and a daughter-in-law, Ann Jones Whittington.

Ms Holland leaves behind to cherish her memory three sons, Mike Whittington, Ray Whittington and wife Dana, and Gary Whittington; a daughter, Sandra Wall and husband Jamie; a former daughter-in-law, Patsy Whittington; six grandchildren, Crystal Guedry, Kim Jaureau, Adam Whittington, Paul Albert Whittington, Charles Ray Whittington and Becky Wall; two step-grandchildren, LaAnne Middleton and Lacey Clayton; and several great-grandchildren.
