NORMAN J. BOURGEOIS
Funeral services were held in Baton Rouge, La., for Norman J. Bourgeois, 59, Baton Rouge, who recently died. He was a native of Lockport, was employed with the U.S. Postal and Passports Service, a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church and a member of Nicholson Post No. 38 of the American Legion. Burial was in Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Baton Rouge.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Thelma Hawkins Bourgeois of Baton Rouge, formerly of Laurel; his foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Knight, Raceland, La.; two step-sons, Jack and Edgar Edwards, both of Baton Rouge; a granddaughter and four grandsons. Mrs. Bourgeois is a sister to Mrs. Grace H. Montgomery and Mrs. Daisy H. Hamilton of Laurel.
Rebenhorst Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
