N.C. Noland

CLARKS -- Services for N.C. Noland will be at 2 p.m. today in Woolen Lake Church of God, Hebert, with the Revs. Glenn Lowery and Gary Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Woolen Lake Cemetery under direction of Riser & Son, Columbia,

Noland, 69, of Clarks died Wednesday in St. Francis Medical Center, Monroe.

He was a farmer in Richland Parish and was retired from the state Department of Highways.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Evans Noland of Clarks; a son, James R. Noland of Sandusky, Mich.; five daughters, Ruth Ingles of Winnfield, Patsy Jones and Norva Welch, both of Monroe, Donna Maxwell of Hebert, Debbie Foster of Clarks; a stepson, Dennis Evans of West Monroe; a brother, Leo Noland of Georgetown; six sisters, Dorothy Barnhill of Georgetown, Jackie Causey of Baton Rouge, Joyce Sikes of Mangham, Glenda May of Grayson, Wanda McGuffee of Aimwell, Annelle Carroll of Jena; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Fred Douciere, Aubrey Peterson, Larry Mullenix, Delmer Maxwell, Frank Hendrix and Glenn Stamper.
