Funeral services for Mrs. Nyoka Nugent will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Georgetown Baptist Church in Georgetown, Louisiana with the Revs. Jimmy Griffin and Allan Hatten officiating. Interment will be in Lincecum Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.
Nyoka Nugent, age 59, of Georgetown, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 in her residence.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, John R. Nugent; three daughters, Nyoka Kendrick of Georgetown, Cassie Smith of Trout and Julie Nugent of Georgetown; four sons, Matt Nugent, Greg Nugent and Jason Nugent all of Georgetown and Heath Nugent of Pollock; mother, Mary L. Deville and husband L.R. of Georgetown; three sisters, Judy Hodges of Henderson, Texas, Debra Brown of Georgetown and Chiquita Caldwell of Winnfield; one brother, David Lincecum of Georgetown; stepsisters, Mary Joe Crawford of Columbia, Mississippi, Katherine Vaughn of Ball; stepbrother, Tommy Deville of Raleigh, North Carolina; twelve grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dock O. Lincecum.
Friends may call at the Georgetown Baptist Church after 4 p.m. Friday.
