O.T. Sikes
Funeral services for O.T. Sikes, 102, of Baskin were held Tuesday at Baskin
Baptist Church with the Rev. Marion Spence, the Rev. John Williams, and the
Rev. Scott Covington officiating.
Burial followed at Pleasant Hale Cemetery near Baskin under the direction of
Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mr. Sikes died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001 at Plantation Manor Nursing Home in
Winnsboro. He was a member of Baskin Baptist Church and was preceded in
death by his wife, Clara Ida Sikes.
Survivors include a daughter, Earline Williams and husband Dennis, Clayton;
son, Alvin Sikes and wife, Emma, Baskin, eight grandchildren; 13
great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Randy Carter, Byron Williams, Corey Carter, Brandon
Williams, Woody Janise, and Alvin Garner.
