O. C. Camp dies at 89; rites Monday
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home chapel for O.C. Camp, 89, of Rt. 9, who died early today at Forrest General Hospital.
Dr. John E. Barnes Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Green Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Camp was a long-time resident of the Hattiesburg area and was a retired mechanic with the Mississippi Central Railroad. He was a member of Main Street Baptist Church and the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen of America.
Survivors are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Erma [sic Irma] Doggett of Hattiesburg; a brother, I.I. Camp of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Mrs. B.A. Lee Sr., of Rt. 5 and Mrs. Edna Renfroe of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a granddaughter, two great-granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
The body will be in state at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
