O. C. House

FERRIDAY -- Services for O. C. House will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Young's with the Rev. Mike Hammon officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery, Natchez, Miss.

House, 69, of Ferriday died at 10:10 p.m. Wednesday in his residence.

He retired from South Central Bell after 38 years of service. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a native of Winn Parish. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church, Minden.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Jean House of Ferriday; one son, Kenny House of Ferriday; two daughters, Pat Erwin of Longview, Texas, and Cyndi Sanford of Whitehouse, Texas; two stepsons, Fred Spiers of Lake Charles and Dale Spiers of San Diego, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Karen Plummer of Little Rock, Ark.; one brother, Ed House of Washington, Ind.; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Horace Russell, Hilton Russell, Bill Wheat, James Moore, Bert Taunton and Sam Pierce.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
