O. L. Harrison
March 28, 1918 - April 2, 2011

A loving, hardworking and caring wife, mother and grandmother, she passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011 at her residence in Baker. She was 93, a native of Winnsboro, and a retired Teacher's Aid with the City of Monroe School System.

Visiting at Baker Funeral Home on Monday, April 4, 2011 from 5-8pm, and on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 8am until religious services in the chapel at 10am, conducted by Rev. Jay Avance and Rev. Walter Carter. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Survived by a son, William Earl Harrison Sr. of Livingston; three daughters, Gloria Jean Hamilton and husband Allan Eugene Hamilton Sr. of Baker, Kay Hayward and husband Kenneth Hayward Sr. of Jarreau, and Sandra June Harrison of Baker; a sister, Sarah Erskin of Winnsboro; 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, William Armster Harrison; two daughters, Nora Sue Harrison and Susan Diane White; and seven brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Allan Hamilton Jr., Earl Harrison Jr., Scott Temple, Paul Temple, Jason Aguillard, Justin Temple, Michael Harrison, and Allan Hamilton III.

O.L. was a member of First Baptist Church of Baker. She loved plants and loved to travel. She also worked as a Poll Commissioner for 60 years, was a chairman for cancer drives.
