Services Held for Abe [sic Obe] Bradshaw, In City Today
Services for Obe Bradshaw, 82, of N. Cherry St., who died at 3:25 p.m. Thursday in the Thompson Nursing Home, were held at 2:30 today from Catchings Chapel.
Bradshaw was a retired Illinois Central Railroad pipe fitter. He worked here for many years, then was transferred to the I. C. shops at Paducah, Ky. After his retirement, he moved back to McComb.
Survivors include: his widow, Mrs. Annie Johnson Bradshaw, McComb; two daughters, Mrs. T. J. Walsh, and Miss Ethel Bradshaw, McComb; a son, George, Onward; a brother, John, Texas; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Hollywood Cemetery. The Rev. T. D. Sumrall, pastor of the East McComb Baptist Church, officiated at the service.
Catchings Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
