Oda P. Kelly

BROWNSVILLE (Special) -- Funeral for Oda P. Kelly, 75, brother of several South Plains residents, will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home in Brownsville.

Kelly was the brother of Fred Kelly of Lubbock, Rass Kelly of Idalou, Mrs. Lottie Farrar of Anton, Mrs. Elsie [sic Elfie] Felts of Colorado City and Mrs. Bessie [sic Dessie] Jones of Snyder.

Officiating at the funeral will be the Rev. Bob Clement and the Rev. A. H. Woodruff, Baptist ministers. Burial will be in Rose Law[n] Memorial Garden here.

Kelly, a Brownsville resident seven years, died at 9:25 p.m. Wednesday in Mercy Hospital here.

Other survivors include his wife, Zelma; a sister, Mrs. Ruby Carr of Wichita Falls; and two grandsons.

BROWNSVILLE -- Oda Phillip Kelly, 75, of 5107 Boca Chica Blvd., died Wednesday in Mercy Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Zelma Kelly of Brownsville; two brothers, Fred Kelly of Lubbock and Rass Kelly of Idalou, Tex., four sisters, Mrs. Lottie Farrar of Anton, Tex., Mrs. Ruby Carr of Wichita Falls, Mrs. Elsie [sic Elfie] Felts of Colorado City, Tex., and Mrs. Bessie [sic Dessie] Jones of Snyder; two grandsons, Phillip Saunders of Arlington and Robert Saunders of Brunswick, Maine, a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Glynda Saunders of Arlington, and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held today at 2 p. m. in Darling-Mouser Chapel, with the Rev. Bob Clements and Rev. A. H. Woodruff officiating, with interment in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.
