Services Monday

KERRVILLE -- Mr. Okley Jones, 96, of Ingram passed away Thursday, August 26, 1999, in a Kerrville nursing center.

Mr. Jones, a resident of Ingram and Kerrville for more than 31 years, was born Oct. 13, 1902, in Denton, Ky.

Jones served his country faithfully during World War I. He married Dora L. Couch Jordan on Dec. 16, 1968, in Ingram.

Jones was a retired rancher and a member of Sunset Baptist Church. He was a Mason for 70 years.

Survivors include his wife, Dora L. Jordan Jones of Kerrville; two daughters, Marie Eckhardt of Fredericksburg and Judith Ann Odom of Energy, Texas; two sons, Claude Bennett Jordan of Ingram and Alan Eugene Jordan of Johnson City; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 30, 1999, at Grimes Funeral Chapels with Rev. Coleman Turner officiating. Graveside services will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Mountain Home under the auspices of the Kerrville Masonic Lodge, No. 697, AF and AM and fellow masons will be pallbearers.

Funeral services are under the direction of Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
