Funeral services for Ola Gertrude Riley, 78, of Winnsboro, were held on Tuesday, Nov. 8, in the Chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.
Interment was in Providence Memorial Cemetery, with the Rev. Leonard Hawks and the Rev. Jack Mulkey officiating.
She was a lifelong resident of Franklin Parish. She was born Oct. 10, 1910. She was a housewife. She died on Nov. 7, 1988, following a brief illness.
Survivors include her husband, Ermon Riley, Winnsboro; one foster-son, Charles Ray Johnston, Winnsboro; five foster-daughters, Margie Fay Johnston Wilson and Desta Burns, both of Shreveport, Eunice Huhn, Port Arthur, Texas, Jewell Furrell, Port Neches, Texas and Vernice Crockett, Crossett, Ark.
Pallbearers were Billy Bass, Boyd White, Max Bass, Ralph Bass, Bob Burrows, Mitchell Buxton, Ray LaPrairie, and Charles Phillips.
