Mrs. J. P. Sills

WINNSBORO (Special) -- Funeral services for Mrs. J. P. Sills, 75, of Crowville, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Crowville Baptist Church with the Rev. C. T. Smith officiating.

Burial will be in Crowville Cemetery under direction of First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Mrs. Sills died at her residence Thursday afternoon after a long illness. Formerly of Winn Parish, Mrs. Sills had resided in Crowville for the past 56 years.

Her survivors include her husband, J. P. Sills Sr., Crowville; six daughters, Mrs. Ruth Logan, Rayville, Mrs. Elaine Kelly, Crowville, Mrs. Nell Tolbert, Slidell, Mrs. Sylvia Brown, Plainview, Tex., Mrs. Dixie Smith, Tioga and Mrs. Ann Thornhill, Lawton, Okla.; four sons, Woodrow W. Sills, Denver City, Tex., Dr. Robert R. Sills, Natchitoches, Oswald Sills, Port Neches, Tex. and Norris Sills, Arlington, Va.; 35 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Davis, Simsboro and Mrs. Rhetta Antley, Crowville.

The body will lie in state at the funeral home until 1 p.m. Saturday.
