Funeral services for Oleta Paige McMillan, age 84, was held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 16, 2007 at Friendship Baptist Church, Baskin, LA with Rev. Prentis Gandy officiating. Interment followed at Friendship Baptist Cemetery in Baskin, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA
Oleta McMillan was born on December 7, 1922 and passed away on August 14, 2007 in Rayville, LA. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Clifford E. McMillan; Parents, Luther and Sina Paige; 3-Sisters and 3-Brothers.
She is survived by 3-Daughters, Joyce Williamson and Husband, James of Rayville, LA, Laverne Winstead and Husband, Thomas of Edwards, MS, and Caroline Coats and Husband, Richard of Stonewall, LA; 2-Sons, Lavelle McMillian of Hodge, LA and Dale McMillian and Wife, Sam of Jonesboro, LA; 18-Grandchildren and 28-Great-Grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Fred Watson, Mark Beatty, Melvin Williamson, Lynn Williamson, Harold Glenn McMillan, and John Charles McMillan.
