MAY, OLIVER POWELL ``PAL''

Died 7:30 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 1988, in Denham Springs. He was 72, a native of Columbia, Miss., and resident of Lima, Ohio. He was a retired Babcox and Wilcox Co. project manager and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and after 8 a.m. Saturday. Religious services at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Steve Spurlock. Interment in Old Red Oak Cemetery, Livingston.

Survived by wife, Olga K. May, Lima, Ohio; a daughter, Marla Adrienne Gaston, Dublin, Ohio; a son, Powell Dodd May, Denham Springs; three sisters, Myrtle M. Roberts, Clinton, Helen M. Waldrep and Willie Blystad, both of Denham Springs; a brother, Robert May, Baton Rouge; two grandchildren, Andrew Gaston and Powell Richard May; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a graduate of Denham Springs High School.
